I am juiced! Last night, I took part in a contest in Colorado Springs called American Icon. The object was for a writer to read 2 minutes of a current work in progress in front of 3 judges and a large audience.
The opening for my work in progress novel “Blisters” WON in the mainstream chick-lit (yes, chick-lit) category… and they say I don’t understand women 
This is more cool than I could imagine, I still haven’t slept.
